Soon Flemish people can proof that musical talent has no age limit! Broadcaster Medialaan has not only recommissioned Talpa’s flagship formats The Voice and The Voice Kids, but also picked up the latest addition to the brand, The Voice Senior. Besides the adults and kids now also seniors (age 60 and older) can take the stage. Following previous announcements of The Voice Senior for the Netherlands, Germany and the UK, Belgium is now the 4th country to start working on the format.
With a market share of 46.8% for the last season of The Voice of Flanders and 37.5% for The Voice Kids, it proofs that Flemish viewers are still enjoying the multi-award-winning talent show.
In this brand-new spin-off it is now the turn of the seniors to prove that you are never too old to shine. Four celebrity coaches will compete to pick their favorite seniors in the world famous blind auditions. In the Knockouts, each coach will select their two best seniors to take to the finals. In the final episode, the winner will be crowned! Which senior turns out to have a voice of gold?
