The Voice of Germany wins prestigious Deutscher Fernsehpreis
The Voice has won yet another award! Yesterday evening The Voice of Germany received the prestigious Deutscher Fernsehpreis in the category Best Entertainment Primetime. It's the second time for the format to win this award, in 2012 The Voice also won in this category. The show beat out 'Ninja Warrior Germany' and 'Sing meinen Song- Das Tauschkonzert', which is also a Talpa Germany production. It is a good week for the talent format, last weekend The Voice won its 4th Producers Guild Award in the US. Last September the format received her 4th Emmy.
Talpa Germany and SAT.1 recently announced they will develop the new spin-off 'The Voice Senior' as part of The Voice of Germany brand that secured fantastic ratings on ProSieben and SAT.1. With this latest addition to the brand, Talpa now caters to three different generations with one format.
