The voice comes to spain
SPANISH BROADCASTER TELECINCO ACQUIRES RIGHTS TO "THE VOICE", THE GLOBALLY SUCCESSFUL TELEVISION FORMAT.
The Voice has been acquired by Telecinco, which will produce the show in collaboration with Talpa and Boomerang TV. The ratings of The Voice have been significant in the United States, the Netherlands, Mexico, Bulgaria, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Ukraine and Albania. In addition, this talent show has just been launched in Germany, Belgium and Denmark and will soon be coming to television screens in more than 30 countries, including the UK, where it will air on the BBC, France, Brazil, Chile and Australia.
Contestants of all different ages are selected for their extraordinary vocal qualities; their appearance, however, cannot influence the nation's best vocal artists (in their role as coaches) as they are not able to see them perform. The goal is to find Spain's best Voice. This will be the task of The Voice, the worldwide television success for which Telecinco has acquired the rights.
