'sing it' is talpa's second musical tv format in latin america
‘La Vida es Mejor Cantando' is the title of a musical TV show that will launch Saturday night September 24th on Mexican's leading broadcaster Televisa in a series of 12 weekly hour long episodes. The show is the Mexican version of the Talpa format ‘Sing It' and follows the success of a Mother's Day special (‘Cantalo Mama') based on the same format and broadcast by Televisa's Canal 2 earlier this year.
Where ‘Sing It' is a musical show too, the format is very different from ‘The Voice', one of Talpa's other international hits also premiering in Mexico and in other Latin markets like Brazil and Chile. Key in ‘Sing It' is the fact that music can make a message really special. Declarations of love, regrets, confessions or just a simple thank you. On ‘Sing It' ordinary men and women get the chance to express their feelings... in a song. Based on a famous tune with specially written lyrics, people can let it all out. Because if you can't say it, sing it. Recent deals for ‘Sing It' were closed in China, The Middle East, Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan and The Netherlands.
