New commissions for i love my country
The success of I Love My Country is still expanding with three new territories commissioning Talpa's hit format.
Belgium (VTM), Greece (Alpha) and Croatia (RTL) are the three new countries that will air the format developed by Talpa Content. In home country the Netherlands RTL4 will air the 6th series of this first rated Saturday Evening primetime entertainment show early October. The new commissions bring the total for I Love My Country to 30 countries spanning the globe.
I Love My Country is a panel game show packed with humour and a pinch of competitiveness. 8 celebrities do battle in 2 teams of 4… and the audience gets to join in! Despite its rules and scoring system, I Love My Country is anything but a cutthroat competition. The show is about the nation’s greatest films, the most hilarious and nostalgic TV highlights, the most popular songs of the last 30 years, entertaining facts about your home country, historical sporting moments, the nation’s culture and language, but, above all, it’s a trip down memory lane and a feast of recognition.
Next to 18 Middle East countries, the territories where I Love My Country has been, is or will be on air include China, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine and Romania.
