Last Saturday, July 11, Talpa's family entertainment show Guesstimation premiered on BBC1 in the UK. The first episode achieved a market share of 25.5% with 4.92 million viewers. BBC1 has an average channel share of 21.1%.
Guesstimation is a primetime funny game show that allows the whole family to get involved and play along. In order to win Guesstimation, you don't have to know the answers to all the questions - you just have to use your judgement and knowledge to make an informed guess. Each episode sees two families of four compete against each other to win a fantastic prize.
The National Lottery show consists of 8 episodes of 45 minutes and is hosted by Nick Knowles.
Guesstimation is a format of John de Mol's Talpa Content. The show first launched in The Netherlands, where it was aired primetime on leading family station RTL 4.
