Know Your Nation is an upbeat, snappy, stimulating review of the week that shows clearly what we think and feel! Which news made the front pages? What had tongues wagging at the nation's hairdressers'? Which hot showbiz subjects were people discussing in the pubs? Which sporting achievement brought cheers to birthday parties? Which politician has become a virtual laughing stock? Who were the week's heroes and losers?
The show sees the week's most important news items - from politics to showbiz and from economics and royalty to sport - subjected to a serious and representative survey by a renowned research bureau. With the goal of answering that one important question: What do we as a country think?

The opinion of "the nation" forms the basis of a playful competition between two teams of three contestants - consisting of a celebrity captain and two of their friends. Throughout the show these teams have to guess what their compatriots think and feel.
Luckily a well-known expert is on hand to shed some light on the specially held representative survey that takes the country's temperature.

Know Your Nation is filled with humour, emotion and lots of very definite opinions. The show is a light-hearted take on current affairs and social issues. Spicy statements, difficult questions and hard estimations follow each other up in a quick fire tempo. How do we feel about our biggest bank's new CEO getting a welcome bonus? Does our country think that the rightwing politician would make a good prime minister? But also more juicy topics, for instance: Which combination would you prefer in a partner: rich and ugly, or poor and handsome?
