Polish edition of Superkids to launch on Polsat

Superkids, Talpa’s new family-oriented talent competition, will soon be on air in Poland. The primetime program, featuring extraordinarily talented children between the ages of 6 and 14, is set to launch early October 2015 on Polsat. The variety talent competition debuted in March this year on SBS6 in the Netherlands, where it proved a huge hit with Dutch viewers. Axel Springer sells remaining shares in Talpa Germany to Talpa Media

Talpa Media, the media group founded by Dutch entrepreneur John de Mol, acquires the remaining 50.1 % shares in Talpa Germany from Axel Springer SE, thereby taking over the TV producer completely. In December 2014, Talpa had already acquired 49.9 % of Talpa Germany (previously Schwartzkopff TV). Mutual options for a total sale were granted in the course of this transaction. With the takeover of Talpa Media by ITV earlier this year, these options became effective and were mutually exercised. Read more
